Branding agency for established Canadian businesses

People choose what they understand.

nuordinary is a branding agency for established businesses, healthcare practices, manufacturers and nonprofits. We take you from strategy to identity to the words and design you use every day, so the brand people meet matches the organisation you’ve become.

You outgrew your brand. That’s a good problem.

The logo was made when the business was smaller. The website says what you did five years ago. Your team describes the company three different ways.

None of that stops customers who already know you. It stops the ones who don’t, because they can’t tell quickly what you do, who it’s for or why they should pick you.

Branding is the work of making that clear everywhere people meet you, then giving your team the tools to keep it that way.

What you get

  1. 01

Brand strategy: what you stand for, who it’s for and how you’re different.

  2. 02

Messaging: how you describe the business, in words your team will actually use.

  3. 03

Identity: a name review, logo, colour, type and imagery.

  4. 04

Applications: website, signage, documents, social, vehicles, whatever you need.

  5. 05

Brand guidelines your team and partners can follow.

  6. 06

A rollout plan, so the change lands well with customers and staff.

Is this right for you?

A good fit if

  • Your brand no longer reflects the business.
  • You’re rebranding after a merger, a new owner or a new direction.
  • You need a brand that works for physicians, engineers or boards, not just consumers.

Not the right fit if

  • You want trend-led design that will date in a year.
  • You want the brand to promise something the business can’t deliver.

Pricing

How pricing works

Every engagement starts with the truth about where you are and what you’re trying to change. Then you get the scope and the price in writing before any work starts: a defined project, a monthly arrangement or a mix of the two. You only pay for what the outcome needs.

Brand work follows the same six moves as everything nuordinary does: See, Define, Map, Build, Move and Next. We measure the movement, not the activity, and when the work is done we ask: Where next?

Questions

How long does a rebrand take?

It depends on the scope. Refreshing an existing brand is quicker than a full rebuild with a new name. nuordinary gives you a timeline in writing after the first conversation, before work starts.

Do we have to change our name?

Usually not. Most brands need clearer positioning and a better identity, not a new name. We only recommend renaming when the current name is genuinely holding you back, and a trademark search comes before you commit.

What’s the difference between branding and brand identity?

Branding is the whole job: strategy, messaging and identity together. Brand identity is the visible part: logo, colour, type and imagery. A good identity comes out of a clear strategy.

Will our existing customers be confused?

Not if it’s rolled out well. Part of the work is a plan for telling customers and staff what’s changing and why, so the change reads as a step forward, not a loss.
