Ecommerce website design and development
Make buying from you the easy part.
nuordinary designs and builds ecommerce websites for Canadian businesses and manufacturers that sell online, or want to. We plan the catalogue, product pages, checkout and the systems behind them, so customers can find what they need and buy it quickly, and your team isn’t retyping orders.

People don’t abandon carts for no reason.
Surprise shipping costs. A forced account. A product page that doesn’t answer the question. A checkout that falls apart on a phone. Each one costs sales, and most stores have several.
Behind the store there’s often a second problem: orders copied by hand into inventory, accounting or shipping, and stock levels nobody trusts.
We design the store around how your customers actually buy, and connect it to the systems that fulfil the order.

Is this right for you?
A good fit if
- You sell online and too few visitors buy.
- You’re a manufacturer or distributor adding direct or trade ordering.
- Your team spends hours moving orders between systems.
Not the right fit if
- You want a store with no plan for how people will find it.
- You need a marketplace for thousands of outside sellers.
Pricing
How pricing works
Every engagement starts with the truth about where you are and what you’re trying to change. Then you get the scope and the price in writing before any work starts: a defined project, a monthly arrangement or a mix of the two. You only pay for what the outcome needs.
Web work follows the same six moves as everything nuordinary does: See, Define, Map, Build, Move and Next. We measure the movement, not the activity, and when the work is done we ask: Where next?

Questions
Should we use Shopify or WooCommerce?
It depends on your products, your team and the systems you already use. Shopify is simpler to run; WooCommerce gives more control on WordPress. nuordinary recommends one after looking at how you sell, not before.
Can you build B2B ordering for trade customers?
Yes. Trade pricing, account logins, quote requests and repeat orders are common needs for manufacturers and distributors, and they’re planned in from the start.
How are payments handled securely?
Payments run through established providers such as Shopify Payments, Stripe or Moneris, so card details never touch your site. Anything involving card data is checked against payment industry rules before launch.
Can you move our existing store?
Yes. We migrate products, customers and order history where the platforms allow it, and redirect old product pages so you keep your search rankings.
